Hunting Training
We offer hunting dog training for a variety of levels to suit the needs of every hunter from occasional outings to avid enthusiasts. Whether your focus is upland, waterfowl, tracking, light weekend fun, professional guiding or any combination of the above, we specialize in helping working dogs become the best hunting companions they can be.

​All hunt training includes unlimited birds and gun as well as hunting by foot and off mule.

Introduction To Puppy Hunt
​Introduction to Puppy Hunt begins with a basic level of training, while cultivating your puppy's natural talents and creating as much drive and desire for the field and water as possible. This course also includes all basic level puppy training for crate and home success.

Introduction to Hunting
Our Introduction to Hunting is the first formal step in our hunting programs. We evaluate the dog's drive and desire - inundating them with birds and gun, field and water, until they reach peak natural level of intention to hunt. We then transition them to field and water obedience for a more controlled level of hunt. Includes 100% house obedience. ​​​​​

Fetch Conditioning
​Fetch Conditioning is the next step in our hunting programs. Here, dogs learn to be steady, to be released on command, and guarantee the retrieval and return of objects to the handler's hand. This hunting program is highly technical and includes all house manners and general citizenship.

Hand Signals/Whistle Training
Hand Signals/Whistle training is the most advanced level of retriever training that we offer. This program increases the level of control an owner has with their dog. we do this by introducing hand signals/whistle training​ to guide the dog to a specific position or multiple positions from any distance. This level is also highly technical and includes house manners and advanced citizenship.

Combination Hunt/Finished Dog
This program begins with Introduction to Hunt and finishes with Hand Signals/Whistle Training. It is the complete "finished dog" program. Once this course has been finalized your dog will have the most thorough training provided across all of our programs. All aspects of the hunt as well as complete house manners and advanced citizenship are considered "finished".

Hunt Refresher/Conditioning
Beginning 1-2 months before hunting season, regardless of your dog's level of training or physical fitness, we will begin to condition them. Your dog will receive specialized physical exercise and thorough practice at their skill level so that they can perform at top tier on opening day. This course can include specific work with older dogs, dogs recovering from injuries, and dogs that have previously had a sedentary home life.
